Clinical Advisor MD will oversee staff involved in value-based performance improvement process with FQHCs and other providers. The Clinical Advisor will provide advice on rapid cycle quality improvement initiatives, as well as help develop and plan long-term strategic initiatives that improve VBCare Network value-based quality performance, reduce total cost of care and unnecessary or avoidable service utilization of assign health plan members.   The key objectives of this positions are.

• Review and advise the CEO and staff on performance improvement initiatives.
• Guide staff performing research and analysis of evidence based clinical care models.
• Advise and oversee staff planning and implementation of rapid cycle and long-term strategic clinical care improvement initiatives.
• Provide expert advice VBCare Network executive management and FQHC medical leadership on promising clinical care models, or technological innovations that have the potential to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of primary care clinical teams.
• Assist with the development of a repeatable value-based improvement process
• A technology integration, and health service redesign approaches.
